The TAINY GMOD-T1 from Dr. Neuhaus Telekommunikation is a ”plug-and-play” modem for wireless data transmission via GSM or GPRS networks in industrial environments. The flexible terminal adapter supports communication via data, text messaging and fax.

The TAINY GMOD-T1 is connected by a serial cable. As such, it is available to the application or the PC as a wireless modem.

Proof of the device’s flexibility includes its standardized enclosure for top hat rail mounting, its large input voltage range (12...30 VDC) and the AT-command controlling option.
