Since June 2006 Thomas Bruckbauer (44) is the Managing Director of Dr. Neuhaus Telekommunikation GmbH in Hamburg and is responsible for both the main offices in Hamburg and the production facility in Rostock. He reports directly to Eric Rieul, the executive manager for Network Solutions and Professional Mobile Radio at the parent company Sagemcom. Bruckbauer’s focus is on expanding the market significance of the company in the M2M field. Another of his declared aims is the sustained establishment of Dr. Neuhaus in Network Solutions and Professional Mobile Radio (PMR).
The graduate economist looks back over 15 years experience in the telecommunications and IT environment. His career started in 1990 at Siemens AG in Munich where he held various sales positions. In 1995 he became Strategic Account Manager at Newbridge Networks GmbH where he was responsible for support services to all telephone companies and large corporations in Germany. Between 1997 and 1999 he was employed as Sales Manager and later as Country Manager by Tellabs GmbH in Munich and Vienna. He was responsible for the growth and management of the sales and service subsidiary in Austria. From 1999 to 2004 he performed various executive management functions, including Head of Worldwide Sales. His last position at Avitech AG was that of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
